Asa Wright Nature Centre, Trinidad
The Asa Wright Nature Centre is tucked away in the hills of the Northern Range on Trinidad. This ecolodge offers 29 rooms, all individually designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind and to enable you to enjoy all that nature has to offer! Hike in the rainforest and learn about hundreds of birds and other fauna that inhabit this beautiful island, ranking as the top biodiverse country in the world based on land area. There are so many different species of birds to discover; Ruby-topaz Hummingbirds, Great and Barred Antshrikes, Purple and Green Honeycreepers, Squirrel Cuckoos, and Tufted Coquettes; a true sight to behold in the botanic garden. These are among the many species that can be easily seen throughout the resort as you take a dip in the refreshing Clearwater Pool or walk on one of the many trails within the tropical rainforest.
