About Blue Waters Inn
Situated at the north-east of Tobago in 50 acres of lush tropical gardens, Blue Waters Inn is a small boutique hotel sitting in its own private sheltered beach Batteaux Bay. A collection of 38 comfortable rooms and bungalows line the edge of this beautiful sandy beach and some offer self-catering facilities with all mod-cons.
Blue Waters is a paradise, a perfect get-away-from-it-all retreat next to the sea for a spot of rest and relaxation. For the more adventurous scuba diving, snorkelling and wildlife treks, the hotel is very close to the Main Ridge Reserve with its waterfalls, flora, fauna and birdlife. Boat trips from the hotel make regular 20 minute hops to the neighbouring islands of Little Tobago and Goat Island. Little Tobago is now a wildlife sanctuary with experienced guides on hand to show you around the fascinating terrain. Glass Bottom boats are there to explore the reefs and the whole area is a birdwatchers paradise.
The Aqua restaurant and bar is situated in a lovely spot on open air decking right over the sand with stunning views across the bay towards Goat Island and Little Tobago. The restaurant serves fine food with fresh fish obviously a speciality. The nearest village is Speyside with its simple shops and local restaurants and away from the hustle and bustle, whilst the picture postcard Caribbean beach village of Charlotteville is a short drive away.
