Holidays in Tobago - how to get there
How do we get to Tobago?
We use a choice of three airlines, all departing from London Gatwick, as follows:
Monarch Airlines (charter flight)
Winter 2009/2010 (November 09 - April 2010)
Wednesday: making a stop in Grenada on the outbound and flying direct
on the return.
Summer 2010 (5 May – 27 October)
Wednesday: making a stop in Grenada on the outbound and flying direct
on the return.
British Airways (scheduled flight)
Winter 2009/2010 (end October 09 to end March 2010)
Sunday and Wednesday: making a stop in Antigua in both directions.
Summer 2010 (end March/beginning April2010
to end October 2010)
Monday: making a stop in Antigua in both directions.
Thursday: making a stop in Barbados in both directions.
Other options
There are also daily flights to Barbados, which can connect with a local
flight to Tobago.
Virgin Atlantic Airways (scheduled flight)
Year round
Thursday: direct service in both directions.
How long are the journeys?
The flight time can vary depending on the route but is generally between 8.5 – 10.5 hours.
What durations are you able to offer?
We can offer holidays in increments of seven nights flying with all the above airlines, although the British Airways service from Gatwick also allows holidays of any duration when flying via Barbados. We can, of course, also combine the BA flights on Sunday and Wednesday and Monday and Thursday to make other durations.
Could we have access to airport lounge facilities?
Yes – there are a number of lounges at Gatwick’s North and South terminals available to pre-book from £18.50 per person.

by calling 0871 225 2555
Pre-booked seats together are £18 each passenger return and can be booked

Please note: Bookings for extra leg room and group seating can only be made between 90 and four days prior to departure date. Specific seat numbers will be advised at check-in. Seats booked together may be separated by an aisle.
On certain routes extra leg room seats can only be offered adjacent to the emergency exit rows. In these cases standard CAA regulations regarding minimum age (16 years +) and mobility restrictions may apply. Monarch Airlines reserves the right to move any passengers that the cabin crew feel are unsuitable for exit row seats.
British Airways
It is not possible to book specific seats with British Airways at the
time of booking, however you can access your booking from 24 hours
prior to departure by going to www.ba.com and
clicking on the “manage my booking” links. You will be able to view
and amend your seating if required and at this stage you can also check
in for your flight, which we strongly recommend you do.
If you are travelling with young children you will be able to view and amend your seating from three days prior to departure, however there may be restrictions on this facility when travelling over Christmas, New Year and Easter holidays.
Virgin Atlantic
We are happy to take your seating requests at time of booking and can
give you actual seat numbers. As the airline only accepts a certain
proportion of the aircraft to be pre-seated, if you are booking late
it may not always be possible to allocate your seats, however you should
still be given a choice at check in.
