Thrifty Car Rental fleet There is much to explore on the island of Tobago and you may well decide to hire a vehicle for all or part of your stay. Our car hire is arranged with a company called Thrifty Car Rental, a highly-respected and well-established company on the island under the management of Mr Eon Rodriguez. Thrifty have a fleet of more than 70 vehicles and we use them because we have total confidence in the quality of their vehicles and the efficiency of their service. Furthermore, we know that the vehicles will be appropriately maintained, correctly insured and will be delivered in immaculate condition.

All vehicles have cassettes/radios and CD players.
All vehicles are delivered and collected free of charge from any of our hotels and villas (small collection/delivery charge at Blue Waters).
Other specialised vehicles, eg larger people carriers and jeeps, are available on request.

This air-conditioned automatic is more modern than the Samurai.
Hard top jeep - an excellent vehicle with the capability of a jeep and the comfort of a car. With five seats and five doors, this is a very flexible vehicle and is highly recommended.
The Thrifty cars are of the Mitsubishi/Lancer Almera type and all seat five people in a four-door vehicle. The cars are air-conditioned with automatic transmission.
This is the small people carrier vehicle which seats six people and again is air-conditioned with automatic transmission - ideal for families or groups of friends.

Minimum driving age 25. Second driver free if spouse - otherwise £25 per week

Collision damage waiver
CDW can be added at US$10 per day, which reduces customer's responsibility to US$1000. Alternatively, CDW can be added at US$20 per day, which reduces customer's responsibility to zero. Add a further US$5 per day on minivans or SUVs.
