What was once a thriving sugar plantation is now the home of one of
Tobago's most charming hotels with a choice of recently renovated rooms
or suites. Arnos Vale is nestled among the slopes of a hillside above
a beautiful and secluded beach and all its 450 acres are populated
with an incredible variety of exotic birds. The rarer species can be
seen by walking through the estate trails. The old Sugar Plantation
House is now the main restaurant and bar, and its terrace has spectacular
views over the ocean. You can also dine casually on the beach at the
Mahi Mahi bar or at the swim-up pool bar. Arnos Vale has lots of character,
lots of wildlife and lots and lots of steps! It is also an excellent
place from which to explore the Caribbean coastline and also the rainforest
and yet it is just a short drive away by car or taxi from the restaurants
and facilities of the Stonehaven Beach area.
